Spydus is a cloud-based, integrated library management system trusted by over 1,500 libraries globally. It offers a patron-centric discovery platform with personalized recommendations, mobile access, and seamless e-content integration.

Spydus automates library functions like circulation, cataloging, and reporting, improving operational efficiency for library staff. The system is fully configurable, supporting libraries of all sizes—from small community libraries to large national institutions. With powerful analytics and flexible backend tools, Spydus helps libraries enhance service delivery and stay responsive to community needs.

Pain points and solution

Pain Point The outdated system didn’t align with the company’s branding, and users struggled to navigate between the home page and dashboard.

Solution The design was overhauled to align with the company’s branding, and a unified side navigation system was introduced to provide contextual navigation, based on whether the home or dashboard page was selected.

Pain Point The system lacked personalized recommendations for users.

Solution Integrated AI-generated book references, tailored to users' needs and reading preferences.

Pain Point Users were limited to desktop access only.

Solution Developed a mobile web app, allowing users to loan books and access services from their mobile devices, enhancing accessibility.
